Our daughter in Texas had her appointment yesterday to see what the sex of the baby was going to be and was delighted to find out that they are having a boy. Of course the little guy would not turn around so they could see his face. But they saw the important part!
We are so happy for them. So grandma-to-be needs to get on the stick and start getting some sewing done. Problem is I don't knit and everything I have to pass on is pink from when the girls were little. I've never made a quilt so this should be an interesting challenge. I admire those people who can knit and crochet and make quilts. I guess I've never be patient enough to be able to sit and do it. However I can do the large needlepoint baby blocks on the plastic forms. I did those for the girls and put jingle bells in the blocks when they were babies. Lots to do before the little tyke arrives. We can hardly wait. I do have one request though from my daughter, I have to make a lullaby CD of me singing. That is one of the fondest memories that my girls have, is of me singing them to sleep.
A Boy! How fun is that going to be?
