The Girl's Road Trip...

This past Sunday our lovely daughter decided, on the spur of the moment, to go on a road trip with her two dogs. It was unclear as to where she was going but she was heading out with her infinite play list on her computer, sleeping bag, pillow, bed pallet, clothes, food, dog food and water. She planned on sleeping in her car with the dogs. To be honest I would not want to tangle with her dogs. When she got to her destination she bedded down in a hotel parking lot just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. She said that the back end of her car was like a jigsaw puzzle with her and the dogs arranged for sleeping but that she ended up being quite comfortable. She has a Jeep.

She stopped in Memphis around dusk and took the dogs on a walking tour of Beal Street. She said that they both did well on the walk especially with all the people and distractions, except the big boy decided that he wanted to play with the horses because they looked like big dogs to him.

So she cut her walk short and got back on the road to her next spot.

The next day she toured Frozen Head State Park and went to Edgar Gap Falls.

The header picture is one of the pictures she took of her and the dogs on their hike. She said the drive was lovely and she enjoyed it very much. She first drove through a mountain pass because as always she missed a turn somewhere but she said it was so beautiful it was worth the drive.

The only problem she had with her dogs was they would go psycho if she left the car and they could see her leave. Therefore the big boy upset a jug of water and it got all over the back end of her car and her bedding. She tried to find a laundry mat to dry out her bedding but was unable to do so, so she turned around and drove back home sleeping in truck stops along the way, she got in Tuesday morning around 10. Brave Girl!!!
